Rewindio is built with a privacy-first architecture. Core audio capture, transcription, summarization, and search are designed to run on your device.
1. Information We Process
- On-device content: captured audio snippets, transcripts, summaries, and related metadata.
- Optional account-linked data: if you enable third-party integrations, selected data is sent to that provider under your authorization.
- Support communications: if you contact us by email, we process the information you include in your message.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide core app functionality such as capture, transcription, and knowledge retrieval.
- To sync data only when you explicitly enable integrations.
- To respond to support requests and improve reliability.
3. Data Storage and Transfers
By default, Rewindio stores app data locally on your device. We do not operate a default cloud pipeline for your audio or transcripts. If you enable third-party services, data transfer and storage are governed by those services' terms and privacy policies.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data when you direct us to share it, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users, rights, or service integrity.
5. U.S. State Privacy Rights (including California)
If you are a resident of a U.S. state with applicable privacy laws, including California, you may have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Children's Privacy
Rewindio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Data Retention and Updates
Most app content is retained on-device until you delete it. We may update this policy periodically, and material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date.
